Some love stories write themselves — across borders, through time, and into forever.Nadeem and Maris's wedding was exactly that. A 7-year journey of love, friendship, and shared dreams finally came full circle in the heart of Muscat, Oman.

He’s a Pakistani national, a longtime resident of Oman. She’s from Estonia, living in the UAE. Together, they’ve spent 7 beautiful years growing a relationship rooted in love, shared values, and deep understanding.

Planning, Management & Decor Vision

From the start, Maris and Nadeem were clear — they wanted their wedding to feel elegant, personal, and aesthetically rooted in natural simplicity.

They requested 100% fresh flowers and leaned toward a soft, rustic palette — think ivory, muted blush, dusty rose, and earthy greens. Our team worked meticulously to bring this vision to life, managing every aspect of:

  • End-to-end planning

  • Ceremony curation

  • Creative decor design

  • On-day execution & coordination

From seating charts to ceremony cues, every detail was mapped out and rehearsed to ensure flow and emotion stayed at the heart of the event.

🧡 A Colorful Beginning: Mehendi at Home

The wedding festivities began with a vibrant Mehendi celebration at their family residence in Muscat. The family home was transformed into a festive, welcoming space — full of color, joy, and tradition.

Our design approach for the Mehendi was to reflect cultural warmth — with bright marigolds, mirror work hangings, colorful cushions, and handwoven accents. It was all about energy and authenticity, designed to feel like a true celebration of roots.

Guests were treated to a night of traditional music, laughter, henna stations, and BBQ delicacies.

The Wedding & Reception at St. Regis, Muscat

The wedding day unfolded at the exquisite St. Regis Muscat, where modern luxury met understated charm.

The couple opted for a simple Nikaah ceremony, held before a floral arch composed entirely of fresh blooms and soft foliage, surrounded by an intimate circle of family and close friends. It was spiritual, emotional, and beautifully serene.

To honour both families and their guests from around the world, multicultural emcees were carefully chosen to host the evening in Estonian, Urdu, and English.

To bring the night to life, we chose the incredibly talented Indofuzon band from the UAE, whose live fusion of Eastern and Western sounds set the tone for an unforgettable evening.

From soulful melodies to high-energy dance tracks, the band brought every emotion alive — keeping the guests engaged, entertained, and on their feet till late into the night.

It was more than a party — it was a celebration of love, music, and unity that perfectly mirrored Nadeem and Maris’s journey.

Design & Decor Highlights

The design vision for Nadeem and Maris’s wedding was centered around simple elegance with a rustic soul. Every element was curated to feel intimate, organic, and true to their personalities.

At the couple’s request, 100% fresh flowers were used throughout — a lush combination of baby’s breath, baby roses, hydrangeas, and lilies, arranged thoughtfully in vintage mason jars and glass vases. These were placed across tables, aisles, and corners, draped in vintage lace and surrounded by soft, flickering candlelight.

The palette featured soft rustic hues — blush, ivory, dusty rose, and green — complemented with natural textures like wooden logs, rustic linen runners, and classic wooden chairs that added warmth and charm to the setup.

The overall ambiance was romantic, timeless, and effortlessly elegant — a true reflection of the couple’s desire for beauty in simplicity, and style rooted in soul.

💃🏽✨ An Unforgettable Reception

With 250 guests in attendance, the reception was anything but ordinary.

There were tears during the speeches, laughter on the dance floor, and music that crossed cultural boundaries — a mix of Pakistani beats, international tunes, and Estonian melodies that kept everyone dancing late into the night.

From the couple’s carefully timed entrances to the seamless flow between the Nikaah, dinner, and dancing — everything was coordinated and managed to perfection.

💕 A Celebration of Love Without Borders

Nadeem and Maris’s wedding was not just an event. It was a heartfelt celebration of love without borders, a seamless blend of two cultures, and a reflection of the care and intention they poured into every choice.

It was our honor at Desi Pride to plan, manage, and design this celebration — and we’re grateful to have been part of their story.

Here’s to love that spans time and continents. 💫
